talk listen share (in-person)

November is widely recognized as a key time to focus on men's health and mental health awareness, largely driven by the global Movember movement and International Men's Day on November 19th. We are talking about breaking the stigma, as cultural norms often tell men to be stoic and hide their emotions. but the statistics don't lie: each day men die by suicide at much higher rates than women, and many suffer from untreated anxiety or depression. In this month's TLS, along with community partners we connect mental well-being with physical issues like prostate and testicular cancer, and discuss why men need each other to stay accountable, because BROs ARE BRAVE TOO!

Light bites and drinks will be served.

Let's talk about S-E-X.

Did we get your attention?

This month TLS is talking about Sex and Intimacy because intimacy after cancer isn’t just about sex. It’s the quiet moments where you don’t have to hide your scars. It’s holding hands when words fall short. It’s laughing until you cry, feeling truly seen, and learning to extend grace to a body that fought fiercely just to keep you here or at the moment just doesn't work like it used to. Cancer rewrites the playbook on desire, physical changes, and vulnerability. Yet so many survivors carry the grief, awkwardness, and frustration in silence—feeling like survival means you should "just be grateful" and ignore the rest.

True intimacy runs so much deeper than physical acts. It begins with emotional safety, honest conversations, deep patience, and rebuilding trust within your own skin and your partners. You aren't broken, and you don’t have to figure this out alone. We are bringing this conversation out of the shadows in the month of love with community partners and our experts for a night you won't want to miss!

Is the GRIM REEPER really that GRIM?

We treat death like a taboo topic because silence feels like safety. We worry that naming it invites fear, upsets loved ones, or makes us sound pessimistic. But when you’ve walked through cancer, confronting mortality isn’t pessimistic—it’s empowering.

Facing that reality head-on changes how you live. Having open conversations about end-of-life wishes, fears, and legacy doesn’t mean giving up; it strips away the quiet panic and gives you back control. It lifts the burden off your family, aligns your priorities, and creates space to focus entirely on what matters: living with clarity, intention, and peace. In this months TLS with our community partners we we normalize the hard conversations. They aren't about dying—they're about taking ownership of your life. Register Today!

Survivorship: Now What?

Ringing the bell marks the end of active treatment, but it isn’t the finish line—it’s the beginning of an unscripted new chapter. When medical appointments stop and the world expects life to simply snap back to normal, survivors are often left asking: "Now what?"

This month, TLS explores the raw realities of navigating identity, healing, and life after cancer once the dust finally settles. Together with our community, we will dive into what life post-treatment truly looks like:

  • We are talking about lingering physical side effects: things like chronic fatigue, neuropathy, joint pain, and chemo brain.

  • Scanxiety and fear of recurrence: Routine follow-ups and scans carry real emotional weight that doesn't just disappear with good results.

  • The delayed emotional toll: Survival mode keeps us going during active care, but grief, trauma, and identity shifts often hit hardest once the care team's safety net recedes.

  • Redefining "normal": Why returning to who you were before cancer isn’t realistic. Survivorship is about honoring how cancer changes your energy, relationships, and priorities while building a meaningful new self normal.

  • And the big one: the isolation of toxic positivity. Why phrases like "at least you survived" or "don't worry, you will be fine" can unintentionally silence valid struggles around body image, intimacy, and survivor's guilt—and what you can say instead.

Join us for an evening of honest, authentic conversation, validation, and connection with a community that truly gets it.
